Ben Wolfe
Lock & Lean was created by full time Police Motor Sergeant Ben Wolfe. Ben started his motorcycling journey off-road getting his first dirt bike at age 11. Ben started riding street motorcycles at age 15 training in parking lots doing Police Motor Training with his family in the late 90's. After successfully getting his motorcycle license, he has ridden and trained on the street ever since.
Ben became certified in Police Motor Officer training in 2002 and by 2003 was a fully certified Police Motor Instructor for Michigan State University. After leaving MSU, Ben helped develop and worked with Midwest Police Motor Training. After leaving Midwest, Ben developed his own unique, one of a kind advanced motorcycle training program "Lock and Lean Precision Motorcycle Riding, LLC" as it is known today. Ben has conducted tremendous amounts of research and testing of the adult learner specific to motorcycle riding and training to make this program. This has led to the overwhelming success students have within the high standards at Lock & Lean, truly preparing them for the unknowns of the street. Ben currently certifies Police Officers for Motorcycle Patrol, teaches Advanced Motorcycle Patrol Tactics and Techniques and offers and all inclusive (4) Step Advanced Motorcycle Training program for all riders (Lock & Lean 101-301). Ben has trained thousands of riders from all over the World in his 20 plus years of teaching police motorcycle training.
Ben has been in many competitions over the years with his first major competition being in 2003. Ben has won many overall Championship titles over the past 20 years on his police motorcycles as well as competing more recently in off-road motorcycle races both indoor and outdoor. Ben has helped many companies develop products and has been sponsored by several companies for on and off-road use.
